Nitoprime 31 should be applied by brush or short haired quality wool roller. When applying by roller use suitable roller tray to avoid primer ponding on the floor and to reduce exotherm effects which will shorten the pot life. 

The primer should be applied evenly across the surface avoiding thick layers which could result in air entrapment. 

The following drying regimes apply depending upon the Fosroc product system to be used:

• All Nitoflor FC and SL systems, Antistatic and Nitocote EP range, allow the primer to dry completely before applying the flooring/coating product. 

• Nitoflor TF5000/10000, ET Slurry and Nitomortar HB and S should be applied whilst primer is tacky.

• Any porous or absorbed areas are still showing after primer application, should be reprimed.
